Rules and regulations for Better Times RV Park

These rules are not only for your neighbors and their visitors, this rules and regulations are for everyone who lives, stays, camps or visits Better Times RV Park.
Please inform your visitors about our rules and regulations.

• Speed limit for all vehicles is 10 MPH (Strictly Enforced).
• Motorized vehicle operators must have a valid driver’s license and observe the speed limit. Management reserves the right to deny usage of any vehicle that is unsafe or excessively noisy
• Management reserves the right to approve or reject any guest based on the age and/or the appearance of their vehicle.
• Only units licensed and approved as a Recreational Vehicle, unless approved by management, will be accepted. Also, all RV’s and personal vehicles must possess a current registration and be able to show proof of vehicle insurance.
• Parking vehicles on unoccupied lots is prohibited. No parking in the street.
• Shortcuts through campsites with any type of vehicle are prohibited.
• No car/van/trailer/park model washing without pre-payment at office ($ 3.00)
• Pedestrians have the right of way at all times and should carry a flashlight at night.
• No bicycle riding after dark.
• All federal, state, and local laws must be obeyed at all times.
• All rates for two people, one RV and not more than two other vehicles on campsite.
• Each extra guest will be $ 2.00/day; $ 10.00/week; $30.00/month.
• Visitors arriving after 9.00pm are considered as overnight guest ($ 2.00/night).
• The resident will take full responsibility for the actions of their guest in the park.
• Better Times RV Park does provide no insurance covering campers, their property, nor their guests. Camper is to provide his/her own personal property and liability insurance.
• Garbage must be bagged properly before placed in dumpster.
• Dumpster is for household garbage only!!
• All campers, residents and their guest should practice good camping manner.
• Don’t take shortcuts through campsite unless you are invited.
• Unsafe, cluttered or unsightly RV sites will not be tolerated.
• Disorderly conduct, drunkenness, or use of drugs will not be tolerated.
• Failure to pay in advance for occupancy or failure to comply with the
• Rules and Regulations currently in effect is ground for eviction without refund and refusal of future admittance.
• Any construction or addition (deck, shed, carport, concrete) has to be approved by management.
• It is not implied or guaranteed that a stay is considered a long-term agreement. Either party may terminate the occupancy of a guest at any time.
• Quiet Time" must be observed between the hours of 10 PM and 7 AM. Radio & television volume and other disturbing noise and activity should be controlled during these hours, except for park-approved events. The use of generators is not allowed at any time. Children and minors under the age of 18 years are required to be at their home campsite during "Quiet Time" hours.
• Please report any problems with your site to the Office immediately.
• Pets must be kept quiet on a short leash at all time also not be left unattended outdoors at any time.
• No pets allowed at Pool area and clubhouse.
• Do not leave your pet unattended in camper if you are leaving the park.
• Use dog walks (east & west side of the park) and clean up after your pet.
• Do not let your pet use occupied spaces as “Dog Runs”. Any guest, not picking up after their pet, when caught after first warning, will be fined $30.00 for cleaning up. Any guest witnessing this and turning in the guest will be awarded $15.00.
• Sales and rental: your buyer or renter has to be approved by management.
• If you rent out your unit, there will be an additional charge.
• Pool rules are posted in pool area.

Deposit, refund and reservation policy:

We accept your reservation 3 month before your planned arrival.
We cannot promise you a particular site, but we will try to honor your request.
Deposit for your confirmed reservation is $ 200.00. This will be refunded at the end of your stay.

Deposit is refundable, minus 10% cancellation fee, up to 3 weeks before your planned arrival.
No refunds for early departure.

Please Remember: TAKE nothing but pictures, WASTE nothing but time, LEAVE nothing but footprints, and thoroughly enjoy yourself in our park.
Also Remember: The world is full of nice people, so if you can't find one - - - be one!
